Valerie Rowe, CD (DONA) is a DONA certified birth doula
  and also a CAPPA trained Lactation Educator. She began her 
  doula journey after the birth of her first child in 1996. 
  Valerie is currently working on her certification as a Childbirth Educator

  through  Birth Arts International.  
  She is a retired La Leche League Leader and has plans to start 
  a group in her area soon.  Valerie has experience working with
  midwives in the homebirth setting, waterbirth, VBACs,  
  supporting teens, non-medicated natural childbirth, 
  as well as supporting women who have chosen an epidural.
  She is the mother of 4 beautiful children, 3 of which were born at 
  home with a midwife.
