Meet our doulas in training!

What is the difference between a Certified Doula and a doula in training?

A certified doula has had specialized training and received her certification from a national organization for labor support providers.
A doula in training has taken the required training and is currently working on completing the remaining requirements needed for certification.

Tiffany Hensley-Cummings received her doula training through Birth Arts International. She is also trained in photography and will begin teaching Hypnobirthing classes in March of 2008. Tiffany has participated in homebirths, hospital births and births at the birthing center including that of her daughter in 2006.

Annie Davis is a CAPPA trained labor doula and mother of seven beautiful blessings. Apart from her doula certification, she is also working on becoming certified as a Childbirth Educator and looks forward to offering a variety of classes soon. Annie supports all women in their journey towards motherhood and is especially involved in educating and supporting teen mothers. Her desire is to help families make wonderful memories, one birth at a time.
